How setup works
You run the Hub, your devices connect to it, and it uses your own AI key. Here is how the pieces fit together.
The big picture
Running the Hub
The Hub is one container with a built-in database. Start it with Docker Compose, or use the single-replica Kubernetes manifest that comes with it.
docker compose up -dPut it behind HTTPS before you enroll devices, for example with a reverse proxy or a tunnel.
Adding devices
In the console, Add Device gives you one install command for Windows, macOS or Linux. The command carries a one-time code that expires after 30 minutes. Agents only ever connect out to the Hub, so devices need no open ports or firewall changes.
Connecting AI
In Settings, choose OpenAI, Anthropic Claude or Google Gemini, paste that provider’s API key, pick a model and press Test connection. A self-hosted or gateway endpoint that offers OpenAI’s Responses API also works. Estimate what it will cost →
Keeping agents up to date
Update agents from the console. If you build releases with your own signing key, agents only accept updates signed with it.
